Sarah Baxter graduated from the University of Vermont in 1986 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She practiced as a Pediatric Nurse. She received her Masters in Nursing from George Mason University and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2001. She has served as President of the Northern Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. She has two daughters, too many animals and lives with her husband in Haymarket. She paints and reads in her spare time.
