Kelly Sanderson earned her master’s degree in 2007 from Georgetown University’s School of Nursing and Health Studies, and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is currently on the board of the Northern Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming an NP, she spent over three years as a staff nurse in an emergency department, and received her first bachelor’s degree in astronomy-physics. Kelly enjoys outdoor activities, including running , cycling, and adventure racing, but above all likes spending time with her husband and daughter.
